Multiple Boilers for Residential Building
So what is a Boiler??
A piece of equipment usually made of steel or iron that produces heat through combustion. The combustion produces heat and is carried through hot water or steam for a central heating in a building. Boilers can be used in low temperature and pressure to high temperature and pressure depending on the use in the building.
There are many types of boilers which all have different types of uses:
- Fire Tube Boiler
- Water Tube Boiler
- Packaged Boiler
- Much more
There are two types of boilers used generally in the HVAC systems. Boilers that produce hot water or steam. One way to tell the difference is to see if the system has one pipe or two pipes.
